About us

After more than fifteen years of involvement in flagship projects on the Geneva scene, three long-time friends met one summer evening on a terrace in Carouge. Driven by an undiminished passion for rock and the desire to create a sincere and powerful project, they set themselves a daring challenge: to form a trio that would blend their respective and shared influences.

And so Automobile Club was born, comprising Julien Marty (The Animen, Future Faces), Ludovic Lacroix (Promethee, Capital Youth, Future Faces) and Maxence Sibille (KUMA, Captains Of The Imagination).

In January 2024, after a few writing and rehearsal sessions, the trio recorded four original tracks in a Geneva studio, accompanied by talented sound engineer Valentin Liechti. Rather than releasing a traditional EP, the band opted for a more agile strategy: a series of singles released on streaming platforms, designed to build a coherent and progressive musical identity.

On 7 August 2024, their first track, ‘I Hate the Heat’, was unveiled and immediately entered the daily playlist of Couleur 3. In October, the second single, ‘Ghoulz and Boyz’, was released, followed in December by ‘Automobile Club’, accompanied by a stop-motion video by Nathalie Berger, mixing images of the musicians and book illustrations in a unique collage style.

On stage, the band performed for the first time on 22 November 2024 at L'Écurie (Geneva) as part of an evening organised by Roosevelt Records. The venue was sold out, confirming the enthusiasm for this new project.

In March 2025, ‘Needles in the Hay’ closed this first production cycle, entirely self-produced and realised without external funding.

A new chapter began in April 2025 with a creative residency, which will result in two new singles expected in the autumn, ahead of the release of their debut album in early 2026.

Now, Automobile Club has only one thing in mind: to rev their engines on Swiss and international stages with a live set designed to thrill audiences at full throttle.
